桃園市為引入東南亞外籍勞工人數最多的直轄市，本次邀請國立臺灣博物館展出東南亞地區相關藏品，以「藏品與社群連結」為主軸，結合本館的東南亞國家語言藏書，透過「人與物」和「物與書」的連結，展示新住民第一代勇敢地跨越國界，帶著對家族、國家、文化深層的念想，傳承在台灣出生與成長的新住民第二代，共同編織人與物、風土民情、信仰與藝術的故事。
展覽期間包括中秋節和農曆新年，兩大重要傳統節日，在每逢佳節倍思親的時刻，特別以印尼峇里島神獸「巴龍（Barong）」展品(龍也是臺灣重要的文化象徵)進而串起臺灣與新住民母國之連結。
另外，結合桃園分區資源中心辦理一系列相關友善多元族群閱讀推廣活動，藉此開啟多元文化交流與對話，讓各族群在探索及、認識彼此的過程，學會互相尊重彼此的文化差異，並鼓勵新住民、移工與市民朋友，多多利用公共圖書館的資源，讓他/她們看見自身，也能讓自身文化被看見，展現圖書館的文化平權。
Taoyuan City is the municipality with the largest number of migrant workers from Southeast Asia. We have invited National Taiwan Museum to exhibit collections related to Southeast Asia in this event. The theme revolves around "Connecting Collections with Communities. Combining with our library's collection of books in Southeast Asian languages. Through the connection of "people and objects" and "objects and books", the exhibition showing how the first generation of immigrants bravely crossed borders and carrying with them profound affections on their family, country and culture. These stories are passed on to the second generation of new residents, who were born and raised in Taiwan, weaving together narratives of people and objects, local customs and traditions, beliefs, and art. The exhibition period includes the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Lunar New Year, two major traditional holidays. During festive occasions that evoke strong feelings of homesickness, the exhibition features the Balinese Barong, with mystic dragon features, while the dragon is also an important cultural symbol in Taiwan, fostering a connection between Taiwan and the homeland of the immigrants and migrant workers.
Additionally, a series of related activities promoting diverse cultural reading among different ethnic groups will be organized in collaboration. This aims to initiate multicultural exchange and dialogue, allowing different ethnic groups to explore and understand each other, and to learn to respect cultural differences. We encourage new immigrants, migrant workers, and residents to make full use of public library resources. This allows them to see themselves and have their cultures be recognized, demonstrating the library's commitment to cultural equity.

【閱來越愛你】113年度桃園分區資源中心閱讀推廣活動 活動詳情請點
桃園分區資源中心位於桃園市立圖書館總館6樓，典藏「文化創意」、「知識性」、「青少年」與「多元文化」四大主題圖書。今年特別搭配「百年對話：跨國移動者與臺博館藏的相遇」桃園市立圖書館聯合特展，以友善多元族群為核心，辦理一系列精彩活動。
全程參與講座，提供閱讀存摺活動點數20點(需持有桃市圖個人借書證)

一、招募對象

2.對東南亞文化推廣有興趣及相關研究者
二、從113年9月至114年2月止，每個月至少能排班1個時段(平日假日皆可，1次排班3小時)
符合資格者會再寄信通知參訓，到時導覽將依排班時數提供志工時數，感謝大家的支持與配合，一同推廣多元文化。
